Welcome to the Engineering Council Web site at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign!
Engineering Council holds events that allow students to develop leadership skills (ESLC) and form productive relationships with staff members in the College of Engineering (DSAC). EC also encourages personal and societal achievement and builds a sense of community among engineering students.
Engineering Council also sponsors a number of programs that show off the skills of U of I engineering students to the campus, local community, and general public. Examples of these events include: a major career fair (EXPO), a large science fair (EOH), and a program that gives high school students a glimpse of engineering at the University level (SITE).
EC meetings are a great way to get information about EC events, societies, and general happenings around the college. They are held every month throughout the fall and spring semesters, and all engineering students are encouraged to attend. Engineering Council (EC) is the students' voice in the College of Engineering and is designed to serve the needs of the engineering community. Volunteer to Help Out With SITE!
SITE 2010 will be hosted February 11-13th. Volunteers have the chance to meet the visiting high school seniors and host them for the night of Friday the 12th.
